The web site has been established in order to promote the archaeological research of Bethlehem of Galilee, and to present The complete data of the archaeological research at the site.

Bethlehem of Galilee has been investigated by Aviram Oshri in the course of salvage excavations, taken during eleven years, s?ance 1992-2003 on behalf of the Israel Antiquity Authority.

The research of the site has not ended, and further investigations are yet to come.
Nevertheless, the results gained hitherto strongly advocate in favor of the identification of the site as Jesus' nativity.

In light of the results already gained, it seems that the site of Bethlehem of Galilee has a profound importance for the study of Jesus' early life, and the cultural and historical background of his time. The finds and results of the excavations at Bethlehem of Galilee will be presented in this web site.

The finds and the research is hereby presented. >>>
